A facebook buddy of mine just won the MWParis PTQ with faeries, further confirming that that is what I should probably play at this weekend's PTQ. Looks like Blue/Black and Sleeves are me this weekend.

I'll let you know if anything changes.

The next PTQ is two weeks away. It's in philly. I'm pretty excited, because I love philly, but....

most of my chums are already qualified.

anyway, I'm leaning towards faeries with main deck Vampire Nighthawks and Vendilion Cliques, obv.

Anyone care to talk me out of it?

Pre-Release

The prerelease for Mirrodin Besieged was a debacle.

Faction packs for drafts was just stupid. But I got some unreal trades in.

Grand Prix Atlanta - :-(

I didn't do as well as expected, but my good chum did come in twelfth place, which is a fine start to the Pro Tour Season for him.

So now, he's qualified three times (rating, PTQ win, and GP t16) and I haven't Q'd once.

Time to tighten up.
